N711OK ready for take off

Grandpa is building Owen the coolest peddle plane. Although his legs aren't even close to reaching the peddles he kept asking people to push him around in it.
Time to head back to Cali but I don't think Owen will be able to fit all our luggage in his plane.

Brrr

Our little Christmas Story kid. Just had to go outside even though it is 35 degrees out he did not want to be cooped up in the house all day.

Fort Worth Zoo

Run, run, run. There are so many places to go and so much to see. The birds are Owen's favorites, but the visitors were also a lot of fun to watch.

Flying to Texas

Baby Signing Time - Owens favorite show gave us about 10 minutes of entertainment on the 3 hour flight. Then we played with stickers, ate some cheerios, waved to all our neighbors and even slept for a while. All in all a good flight. And dressing a baby in a button down shirt didn't hurt any either, he got lots of smiles.

Ouchy - my hand hurts

My heart just breaks to see my little man with a sad face and a hurt that I cannot fix. A burn on a baby's hand is such a tough injury, because it really hurts for days and how do you keep a 1-year-old from using the injured hand. Owen just wants lots of kisses and hugs to make him feel better.

US Half Marathon

Driving into San Francisco the cloudy sky loomed ahead predicting a wet morning for the run.

Adam and Aunt Jessica trudged through the puddles and mud and completed the run faster than either planned. Owen and I did not fare so well as spectators. We got very wet, very lost driving in the park, and had a tough time finding our runners. Spectating is a tough sport:)
