Doggies luv to share

Well if Adam won't throw the toy for the dogs, they'll move on to the next person. Too bad Owen hasn't quite got his pitching arm warmed up. That toy tastes funny.

First Snow

Owen's first snow trip was so much fun. We all enjoyed playing in the snow. Owen thought it felt funny and liked watching the snow flakes. He did not get to try out the slopes this year, but Mommy and Daddy both got to board and it will be no time before this little man is on his own snowboard carving like an animal.

The best baby shoes we have found are Patagonia Booties, they actually stayed on the whole time and kept his little feet warm.

Hiking with the Baby Pack

We got a lot of use out of Owen's Kelty backpack carrier. He really likes trying to look over your sholder and since he loves being outdoors this was an easy way to keep him mello.

(yes, those are socks on his hands, we just put our socks on his arms so that they would stay and keep his finger warm.)

Kings Beach

The clouds are getting ready to dump some snow on Tahoe and the beach is beautiful.

Owen is going to miss Cousin Lizzie. He is having so much fun showing her all his talents, like blowing bubbles, yelling, and smiling really cute.

Ready for first snow day

It is Owens first time going to the snow and he wanted to wear this out.



Couldn't be any cuter, but might not be quite warm enough. Of course Owen just didn't know how cold the snow is.

Grandma loves me

Grandma and Ron came to watch Owen while Mommy and Daddy went on a date. Grandma was so comfortable that Owen didn't want to sleep in his crib.

Here fishy fishy

Daddy and Owen went fishing with Donovan and Alan at lake Pardee. No fish, but lots of fun.

Owen was so brave getting his second flu shot. Didn't even cry thanks to his great nurse. And it helped that he was distracted by the big piece of paper they laid on the bed for him to tear up into little pieces.



Everything is a new toy for Owen. Even the curtain in our bathroom doorway, which he scooted over to and played peek-a-boo with.

I think Owen got more avocado on him than in his mouth. It is even in his eyebrow.

Pretty kitty

Kitty cats are like smaller doggies, right? Well Owen thought they would be but they were not quite as receptive to his wild swinging attemps to pet them. They liked to stay just out of reach. And Owen got real upset when they didn't stick around to play and they didn't run around or jump up and down to entertain him. It was the first time he ever got mad about not getting to play with something.






Owen also had his first taste of avocado tonight. He liked it but was a bit distracted by those cats who kept walking past his chair.

Toys toys toys

I love my toys! I play with each one and then toss it out if reach. Then Daddy comes back and piles them all in my lap again.



But when he's not looking I like to find new things to play with. Like this door which I opened myself.

First swing

Daddy took Owen to the park after thier morning run and Owen tried out his first swing set. He was so excited he even tried pumping. If he could talk he would have been saying "higher daddy, higher!"

First tooth

Owens first tooth, front bottom left, broke through the gums last week on the 27th after 2 weeks of painful teething. But since then has not popped up much more. You can really feel it's sharp ridge but can't barely see it. The one next to it also is showing a bit now. The poor kid seems to be having a tough time with these teeth. Just chewing on everything and not sleeping peacefully.
