Thanks for hanging out with me and teaching me how to cluck. (It is a really funny noise I make with my tongue and I only do it for Grandma.) I will keep practicing my tummy time until you come back to visit.

happy baby

Isn't this the cutest smile you ever saw? Owen had a busy day shopping for a good halloween costume. And he survived the shopping as long as we kept his belly full, he is just like his dad that way. And after a long day, Mommy and Grandma were pooped but Owen was still goofing off and making funny faces for the camera.

 

A whole 8 hours

Owen is so well rested after a whole 8 hours of sleep last night.

Owen does not love tummy time but thinks this is alright.

Who sleeps like this?

This hat is designed to cover babys eyes while they nap in a carseat or stroller. What baby wants a hat pulled down over their eyes. Owen thought it was terrible.

I didn't do it

Owen looks mighty guilty laying in a pile of toys. But he can guarantee he didn't do it, anyways he can't even sit up much less spread toys all over the house. It was the wrath of Donovan that was left at the end is the day. Donovans dad helped Adam work on the backyard so Owen had a playmate all day. Owen really liked watching him roll the tonka truck. And Donovan was always checking on "the baby" and bringing him toys to chew on. They had a fun day.

Morning smiles

The sweetest smiles are the ones that greet you first thing in the morning. It is so sweet to walk into Owens room when he starts crying in the morning and when he sees me, his face lights up and he gives me a big gummy smile. Oh it warms the heart.

Today Owen has been really fighting off a nap. He would fall asleep for 5 minutes and then wake back up and it was making him grumpy. He finally gave in and fell asleep on my shoulder at 3.
