Happy Father's Day

Owen and I had a fun visit with Adam in Chico on his first Father's Day, and Owen picked out a really cool camp shower to give to Daddy. Happy Fathers Day to all the dads and grandpas out there.

Owen slept the whole way home from Chico. He really wanted to fall asleep during the short drive from visiting the Riggs, but we kept him awake with cheerios, patty-cake and there may have even been a little water spraying.

Baby's First Swim

Owen's first swim was so much fun. He couldn't stop smiling and splashing the water. And he just kicked and kicked and laughed at the other kids doing cannon balls. My little shark would have stayed in all day if he could.

Walking with a little help

I can go anywhere now with my lion, well until we run into something, because I haven't figured out how to turn the lion.

Zoo Trip

It is so much fun to take Grandma and Grandpa to Mommy's work and show them all my favorite animals at the Zoo.

He's just thinking

Scrub scrub

Got to get clean after a busy day of exploring. The nighttime ritual is really an important part of Owens day. After his bath and pjs he wants to cuddle with his blanket in Mommy's arms. We read a bedtime story and Owen just needs a little milk to settle him into dreamland. But don't think you can divert from this order or you will have a cranky baby instead of this adorable little face.

Watermellon = Summer

Owen's first taste of watermellon, and he couldn't get enough. He threw a fit when the first piece was finished and chomped down a second.

Cruzing

Owen has mastered this months goal (also know as developmental milestone that you are not supposed to worry about) -- Cruzing! He pulls up and walks along the edge of every surface in the house. We have tried to capture some video but once he sees the camera he drops to his knees and crawls over to inspect it.

Extra naptime

Owen woke up from his nap really grumpy. So, after some cuddle time, I guess he just needed more naptime.

It is so much fun to play in the grass and pull it out and feel it between my fingers.

Daddy at Short Haul Training

Adam completed short haul training today so that he can be inserted by helicopter as part of his Special operations team.
