Mornings with grandma

Grandma thinks Owen is so talented at eating his banana in the mornings. And he is smiling so big because he learned a new trick last night.



We started letting Owen cry it out. Tuesday night it took 35 minutes and Adam went in and checked on him 3 times. Last night took 15 minutes and Adam only checked on him once. But he woke up a couple hours later and in only 5 minutes I went in to get him and he was standing up in his crib for the very first time which was only on the second level. So, now he can pull himself up but only when we aren't looking.

Throw and crawl, then repeat

Arrr, this feels good on my sore gums.

Sunday funday

The weather was beautiful and we had fun just hanging out all day.

First Ball Game

We had great seats at the Rivercats game and Owen really got to see the action. He tried to watch the pitch but was a little slow to follow the ball. He was stylin with his new cap.

Miss you

Mommy missed Owen today so daddy had to send pictures throughout the day to make her smile.

Happy Birthday Adam

Sushi for Adam's birthday dinner - of course, and mochi for dessert. Adam gave Owen his first taste of ice cream - Adam is holding a piece of the mochi ball and let Owen lick it. He got real excited and just attacked it.

Baby bus

This toy is for 18+ months. My baby is so advanced.

Crawled out of my pants

Owen doesn't lift his middle up when he does his army crawl, the downside being his pants slid off today, upside is we can get him to clean the floors with his shirt.

Entertain the baby

Adam wanted a haircut so he set everything up in the bathroom and I asked him to get a toy that he thought would entertain Owen the longest. He came back with a box of recycling, with some cardboard packaging and a waterbottle. Sure enough, he sat and played with everything, even figured out how to unscrew the cap from the waterbottle.

Food art

He likes to work with his hands. Not really intersted in putting food in his mouth. But real creative in making designs on his tray and in his hair and on his shirt. I guess he really wanted a bath tonight.

Sand box fun

Owen had a lot of fun playing in the sand box at the park today. Adam buried his feet and Owen dug them out. Then when the other kids got quiet he grabbed a handful of sand, tossed it in the air and squealed.

The Inchworm

Owen is doing the Inchworm, just moving along, but not too gracefully. The dogs are always trying to help as you can see.

First day at daycare

Owen had his first day of daycare today. He did alright, was fairly fussy, but really liked watching the other little boy. And he brought home his first class project - a cute Easter magnet.
