Easter came early

Owen got his first Easter basket from cousin Liz. He really liked the cute outfit and new book but mostly just liked playing with the empty basket.

Shasta Lake

Quick stop at Shasta Lake on our way out of town.

Redding visit

We had a short overnight trip to Redding and Owen got to hang out with all his cousins. They all had so much fun, wish we could see them more often.

SF visit

Owen and mommy went to San Francisco to visit Aunt Jessi Sue. We mostly just ate out, and walked a lot. It's a lot more work when you are pushing a stroller with a 19 pound kid plus all our stuff up the crazy hills.

Busy day with dad

First we went for a run and I was sporting my cool new shades.



Then I showed off my mountain climbing skills. I'm king of the playground!



Next I was Dad's assistant handyman. I am really good with a measuring tape.

Straws are cool

Owen's very first drink from a straw. At first he was just trying to pinch it with his fingers and it took a few tries to figure out how to suck the water up to his mouth. But then it was a fun game cuz he could spit it out all over us and his shirt.

kisses

Owen learned how to give kisses now. It is the sweatest thing ever, just melts your heart. And then he gives you a great big smile.

Exploring

Found a new toy! And next time Mommy watches a movie she will be in for a surprise when the volumes is way too loud.

Playing with pups

Owen absolutely loves his doggies. He is happy to just play with his pups on the floor, and jingle Jax's tags or pull on Pene's ears.

I was confirming the theory of intergalatic gamma radiation fatastic sensationalism. BAZINGA!

Young Robinhood

Owen and daddy went to the archery range twice this week. Owen had a lot of fun and all the other archerers were happy to see the little guy out there.

Egyptian archiologists

Adam and Owen traveled all the way to Egypt to play in the sand.

White trash pack n play

Pack n plays just don't seem to be made with comfort in mind for napping. And we can give up our search now that we found this. Still not comfy but just the right size.

gdiapers

We are trying out some new diapers, gdiapers. So far, they are pretty cute and seem fairly comfy, soft elastic waistband and soft cotton cover. They have a plastic liner that you set the flushable diaper into. Then you just flush it after each use, not bad at all with pee, lets see how number 2 handles. They are absorbing pretty well, but we are quick to change this little monster, because he gets mad if left in a wet diaper for more than a minute.

I can feed myself

Mommy is so nice to cut up some tiny pieces of bananna so I can smash them together and decorate my high chair with it. I tried to put some in my mouth but missed. Mommy spooned some up for me to eat - yummy. Dinner is so much fun.

Thursday night Owen was up all night long just crying his eyes out. At 2 am we were walking outside bc it was the only thing that calmed him down. Luckly grandma took over at 3 am and then daddy took a shift at 6. Doctor confirmed he had an ear infection in both ears and the antibiotic started kicking in right away. It was so nice to see a smile return to his face.

Grandma and Grandpa visit

It has been a crazy week. Owen and Adam got a cold and have been sick since the weekend. Adam had some training on his usuall days off so grandpa flew in to watch Owen an grandma came after her trip was over. They took Owen to the park, which always makes him happy bc he luvs being outside.
